Hannah was rescued from her village at the age of 13, when she was next in line to be sold to a brothel in India where her older sisters were already working.
This experience ignited her determination to fight for vulnerable women and girls from the Badi and other vulnerable communities. Hannah’s work has contributed to providing food, education and safe havens for thousands at risk while rescuing many who have fallen victim to trafficking.
Three books detail her journey, and in 2023 CNN devoted six months to covering her "freedom story”.
